Don’t miss the “Shake off the Winter Blues Hike Series!” Get your blood pumping and your body moving as we hit the trails and hike the hills of 3 parks in 3 weeks!
WHEN:

Sun., Jan. 29, 2 - 4 p.m. – Mt. Airy Forest
Sun., Feb. 5, 2 - 4 p.m. – California Woods Nature Preserve

What are the benefits of winter hiking?
· You can burn off more calories on the trails than inside a gym!
· You can stop at a few rest areas along the way to admire the winter scenery and look for wildlife in the quiet woods.
· You can learn fun facts and new things from the professional Park Naturalist guiding your hike.
· After the hike, you can socialize with new friends and old while enjoying a cup of soup and a warm drink.
Due to the strenuous nature of the hikes and the cold weather, we recommend this program for adults and families with hikers 10 years old and up.
